I couldn't speak more highly of Athena Karsant!
Not only is she extremely talented, but she is also honest, kind and gentle. A few years ago I had permanent lip liner tattooed, but sadly the "artist" who did it had no knowledge of color theory and my lip liner turned dark grey instead of the soft pink I was hoping for!
The more she was trying to fix it, the worse it was getting and I ended up looking like a corpse with grey lips! Devastated, I contacted a highly reputable Beverly Hills plastic surgeon and asked if they could recommend a permanent makeup artist talented enough to fix my big problem. Without hesitation they gave me Athena's name.
I was living in Australia at the time, but I was prepared to fly to California to meet Athena. During the consultation she warned me that it was going to be a difficult task that would require many visits, but I was prepared to do whatever it took to restore my lips to their natural color.
I flew from Australia for each session, it took a total of 5 years but it was well worth it! Not only she managed to remove the grey lines, but she was also able to restore my lips to their natural color and shape! During my visits I met a dozen of Athena's clients while she was redefining their nipples after breast surgeries, enhancing their eyebrows, drawing their eyeliner, removing their scars, etc.
Half of her clientele comes to her in hope that Athena will correct the botched jobs they received from unqualified permanent makeup artists. And she patiently does, flawlessly!
